Angel Treasures opened its doors on April 14, 1995 by Gail Doherty and Nancy Osey.  That day just also happened to be Good Friday.

Angel Treasures is located in a historic home that was built in 1926.  Legend tells us this home originally belonged to a doctor.  As you walk through the eight rooms of this Angelic home filled with hundreds of angels, one can only imagine the activities that took place here through the years.

Gail had worked in corporate America for 29 years when she decided to leave because it was no longer challenging.  She was determined to find a career that would give her a meaningful purpose.  Following many months of spiritual growth and soul searching, she visited Angel Treasures in Royal Oak.  After that, she was guided to the possibility of opening her own Angel store.  The search for the perfect location took her to Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids.  Unfortunately each new location has many obstacles and Gail was running into insurmountable challenges.  A good friend told her, "Follow your heart and everything will work out fine".

So, Gail said a prayer to God telling him this was her dream, and if it was meant to be, to show her the way.  Almost immediately, miracles started to happen.  Within days, her life long friend, Nancy Osey, and her reconnected after losing touch with each other for several months.  Gail shared her dreams and aspirations, and Nancy said she would love to be her partner.

While working on a business plan, someone had suggested Downtown Rochester for their location.  The next day they found a building that had just become available and within three and a half weeks, Angel Treasures opened it's doors for the first time.  Everything had come together so easily, they were convinced that Angels and Divine Guidance from above came to help them do together what  they could not have done alone.

Gail and Nancy offered many beautiful Angel gifts and collectibles in their new store.  They also brought in spiritual individuals who offered seminars and workshops at the store.  Angel Treasures became a special place for people to visit and word quickly spread for miles about this extraordinary store.

Gail continued her dream until 2002 when her husband began experiencing severe medical problems.  As time went on, Gail found it increasingly difficult to spend as much time with her husband while still managing her duties at the store.  It was time to pass the store along to someone who would bring in hew ideas while continuing her dream.

In 2002, Angel Treasures was purchased by Linda and John Sabatini.  Linda expanded the product line to include religious, new age and spiritual items.  She brought in gift items for everyone and every occasion.  There are angels to welcome the birth of a child, baptism, christening, first communion, confirmation and weddings.  There are also very special items to help comfort during the loss of a loved one.

In 2007, Linda and John sold the store to me, Marie Snarey.  So, Angel Treasures now moves onto yet another level and a whole new dimension.  Aside from our unique product lines, we offer seminars and workshops designed to assist you on your own personal journey.  Our presenters gladly share their time and energy with us and are some of the highest lightworkers you will ever encounter.  They all share the belief that we all can communicate with our angels, we just have to open ourselves to it.  People often enter the store as a stranger, but leave with a feeling of friendship and companionship.  Feel free to come in and visit.  Stay awhile, if you like.
